What does a Health & Wellness Coach do?

A Health & Wellness Coach works with individuals who want to improve their health and well-being. Using concepts drawn from psychology, behavior change, and life coaching fields, they help clients overcome obstacles to achieve their goals.

 

Health & Wellness Coaches do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments or provide psychological therapeutic interventions. They do work in partnership with any treatment plans that may be in place from a client’s healthcare provider. 

As partners and facilitators, Health & Wellness Coaches support clients in mobilizing internal strengths and external resources, and in developing self-management strategies for making sustainable, healthy, lifestyle and behavior changes.

What should I do to prepare for my discovery call?

After you complete the request to book a call, I'll follow-up to schedule a time that works for us both. I'll send a brief questionnaire for you to complete in advance, so that we can spend our time focused on your goals and challenges. Just take a breath and be yourself.
